ILCOR 2015 Consensus on Science work flow for all systematic reviews

This diagram depicts the ILCOR 2015 Consensus on Science work flow for all systematic reviews. (“ILCOR” is an acronym that stands for “International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation.”) This workflow includes five boxes, each corresponding to major steps in the linear review process. The first box describes step 1: PICO Question Development. (“PICO” is an acronym that stands for “Population, Intervention, Comparator, and Outcome.”) The box includes text that says, “PICO question is created by task force, and initial search strategy is completed by information specialist.” An arrow points to the next box for the second major step: Search Strategy Development. This box includes the following text: “Initial search strategy is reviewed and approved by the task force and sent out for public comment. The full literature search is then completed by the information specialists and given to the evidence reviewers.” There is a caption beneath this Figure which reads: “ILCOR 2015 Consensus on Science work flow for all systematic reviews.”
